Congenital Hearts of Arizona (CHAZ)

Congenital Hearts of Arizona

Project Description

Congenital Hearts of Arizona (CHAZ) is a diverse and dedicated statewide stakeholder group committed to serving the needs of individuals and communities impacted by congenital heart defects (CHDs). As a prominent advocate for CHD awareness, CHAZ strives to create a supportive and informed environment for Arizona residents, healthcare practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders alike. By fostering a collaborative network, CHAZ aims to provide ongoing, reliable information, resources, and a sense of community to empower those affected by CHDs. CHAZ endeavors to enhance understanding, promote advocacy, and improve the overall well-being of individuals living with congenital heart conditions throughout Arizona through various activities. CHAZ is currently promoting a podcast series for health providers to dive into three critical areas of care: dental care, transition from pediatric to adult care, and reproductive care while providing CME Credit.
